Rocket

At the moment of liftoff, a pale body rises on two dark engines, light borne up by weight. The three stones are held together by gravity alone, the same force the machine is built to escape. That paradox is at the heart of the piece: a machine powerful enough to leave the planet is still fragile at every joint, depending on a balance that could fail at any moment. Rocket holds might and vulnerability in the same breath.
