Silent Consent

Silent Consent utilizes the simplest kinetic mechanism to suggest a figure caught in a loop of perpetual agreement. This work is intended to be disturbed; when touched, the sculpture begins a repetitive, mindless nodding motion that manifests the "rhythm of compliance." It is a study of sycophancy and the erasure of the spirit through constant, unthinking affirmation.
